Warranty
2-Year Warranty
At Canott, we stand behind the quality of the products we sell.
All products purchased on canott.com come with a 2-year warranty, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.
This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how to make a warranty claim.
1) What Does the 2-Year Warranty Cover?
The 2-year warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults that become apparent during normal use of the product.
Examples of covered issues include:
-
defects in materials,
-
defects in workmanship,
-
faults that were not caused by misuse or external damage.
The warranty applies from the date you receive the product.
2) What Is Not Covered?
This warranty does not cover:
-
damage caused by incorrect use, accidents, or negligence,
-
normal wear and tear resulting from regular use,
-
cosmetic damage that does not affect product functionality,
-
damage caused by improper care or failure to follow care instructions,
-
consumable products such as cosmetics, edible items, or candles.
For hygiene and safety reasons, only clean products will be accepted for warranty inspection or repair.
3) How Warranty Issues Are Resolved
If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, we will, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws:
-
repair the product, or
-
replace the product with the same or an equivalent item, or
-
refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible.
The appropriate solution will depend on the nature of the defect and product availability.
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under EU consumer law.
4) How to Make a Warranty Claim
To start a warranty claim, please contact info@canott.com and include:
-
your order number,
-
the order date,
-
the product name or SKU,
-
a clear description of the issue,
-
photos showing the defect (if possible).
We may ask you to return the product for inspection. If a return is required, we will provide clear instructions.
5) Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims
If a warranty claim is accepted, shipping costs related to repair, replacement, or return will be handled in accordance with EU consumer protection rules.
If a returned product is found not to be covered by the warranty (for example, damage caused by misuse), return shipping costs may apply. In such cases, we will inform you before proceeding.
6) Who Provides the Warranty?
The warranty is provided by Canott, as the seller of the products.
In some cases, warranty inspection, repair, or replacement may be carried out with the assistance of our manufacturing or fulfillment partners.
This does not affect your rights or your point of contact — all warranty claims should be addressed to Canott.
